I’ve been devouring them. They’re pretty easy reads, but they’re nice. You’d think “humanoid unicorn aliens” would be a really cheesy concept, but it works, especially later in the series when the rest of her people become a regular occurrence in the plot and their origin gets revealed. It’s not often there’s a pacifist race of aliens that works in a series. Though the first two are more…saccharine than the later ones. There’s a different collaborator for the others, and I rather like her better.

Plus I can always tell who’s going to end up with who. :P

Did anyone else ever read the Acorna books by Anne McAffrey (plus collaborators)? They’re kind of simple, but sweet in a way and rather unusual for sci-fi.
